ALL IS SET FOR THE FINAL STAGES OF THE 37TH ANDREA MARGUTTI TROPHY

Qualifying heats defined the main protagonists of the 37th edition of the Andrea Margutti Trophy at the South Garda Karting circuit. The Final stages on Sunday, March 15th with Live Streaming.

Friday and Saturday’s heats have revealed the top contenders and finalists for the Andrea Margutti Trophy currently taking place at South Garda Karting. They are now ready for the final challenges on Sunday, March 15, to claim victory in this prestigious international event, now in its 37th edition organized by Parma Motorsport.

Following the ideal conditions on Friday, which saw qualifying practice and the first heats for the MINI U10, MINI Gr.3, OK-N, OK-NJ, and KZ2 categories, rain on Saturday afternoon complicated the situation, making the final heats much more difficult.

KZ2 – Bertuca is unstoppable.

After taking pole position in qualifying, Cristian Bertuca (Birelart Racing – Birelart/Iame/Vega) continued his winning streak in KZ2, immediately securing victory in Friday’s heat and replicating that success in both of Saturday’s heats—including the one held in the rain, despite a spin. Among the top performers were the Belgian Elie Goldstein (TB Kart Racing Team – TB Kart/TM Kart) with two wins, and Alex Maragliano (CL Racing Team Renda – Birelart/TM Kart) with one win. Also showing well were Michael Barbaro Paparo (Monster K Factory – Monster K/TM Kart), the Dutchman Jens Treur (Treur – Croc Promotion/TM Kart), Marco Tormen (Tormen – Pantano/TM Kart), Davide Forè (Formula K SRP – IPK/TM Kart), and Andrea Dalè (Dalè – CRG/TM Kart).

MINI Gr.3 – Mair takes the top spot.

The Englishman Alfie Richard Mair (Tony Kart Racing Team – Tony Kart/Vortex/MG) secured the top position after the heats following his pole position, thanks to a double victory. A win also went to the Spaniard Abraham Schelvis (CRG Racing Team – T-Group/TM Kart). Joining them at the front of the field are the Maltese driver Zane Pace (Tony Kart Racing Team – Tony Kart/Vortex) and his Polish teammate David Aagten, as well as Andreas Papageorgiou (CRG Racing Team – T-Group/TM Kart).

MINI U10 – Burgess wins all three heats.

In the three heats of MINI Under 10, Zayne Burgess (Parolin Motorsport – Parolin/Iame/MG) secured a clean sweep. The young American driver, who took pole position in qualifying, claimed three victories, confirming his status as the top contender for the final win. Among his rivals, Oliver Weytjens (Team Driver – KR/Iame), fellow American Blake Hsueh (Tony Kart Racing Team – Tony Kart/Vortex), and Estonian Sten Mihailov (AIX Racing Team – Maranello/TM Kart) stood out the most.

OK-NJ – Carrer comes to the fore.

In the heats, Gioele Carrer (Emme Racing – EKS/Modena Engines/MG) took center stage with two wins. Two victories also went to the Swiss driver Orlando Rovelli (Team Driver – KR/Iame), who is chasing Carrer’s lead alongside Luigi D’Ascoli (Modena Kart – Parolin/TM Kart), winner of one heat. Patrick Bissa (Power Competition – EKS/Modena Engines) also performed well with one success. Falling slightly behind was pole-sitter Tiberius Muller (Beyond Racing Team – LN/Modena Engines/MG).

OK-N – Rossi tops the most crowded category.

Among the many protagonists in OK-N, which featured 90 drivers at the start, Federico Rossi (AKM Motorsport – Parolin/TM Kart) prevailed in the heats thanks to two wins. He is followed in the standings by Riccardo Ferrari (M2 Racing – Parolin/TM Kart/MG), who also secured two wins, by Andrea Barbieri (Zanchi Motorsport – Tony Kart/TM Kart), Manuel Scognamiglio (Pantano by DAM – Pantano/Iame)—making a great recovery from qualifying—and.

The young Cristian Blandino (Zanchi Motorsport – KR/TM Kart) claimed one victory but sits further back due to a retirement in Friday’s first race. Single heat wins went to the Polish driver Juliusz Ociepa (Novalux – Lenzokart/LKE), pole-sitter Sebastiano Pavan (Zanchi Motorsport – KR/TM Kart/MG), and Nicolas Marchesi (Zanchi Motorsport – KR/TM Kart), who won the final heat of the day.
